Terms of Service

These terms govern the website hecigo.com, the packages hecigo publishes, and the hosted software hecigo operates. They do not govern a paid integration engagement: that work is governed by the contract signed for it, and where that contract and this page disagree, the contract wins.

What these terms cover

hecigo provides three different things, and they are governed differently.

Open-source packages published under the @hecigo scope and the n8n-nodes-* namesThe licence in each package, normally MIT, plus this page

Using the website, installing a package, or connecting an account to a hosted service means you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.

These services are for business use. Do not use them if you are under 16.

Accounts and access keys

A hosted service identifies your workspace by an access key that hecigo issues to you once. Treat it as a password.

  • Keep it secret. Anyone holding it can read the data your workspace is connected to.
  • Tell us at hi@hecigo.com if it leaks, and we will rotate it. A rotated key replaces the old one immediately.
  • You are responsible for what is done with your key until you report it as compromised.

hecigo may suspend a workspace without notice where a key is being used to abuse a third-party platform, to breach these terms, or where a platform requires it.

Connecting a third-party advertising account

The advertising service reads, and where you have enabled it, changes data in accounts on Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. Three things follow from that.

You grant the access, and you can withdraw it. Authorization happens on the platform's own consent screen, under your own platform login. You can revoke it at any time from the platform, without asking us. Revoking stops the service from reading or changing anything in that account, immediately.

The platform's own terms still apply to you. Your advertising remains subject to Meta, Google and TikTok policies, including their advertising policies and their rules on prohibited content. hecigo does not review your advertising for compliance with those policies and is not responsible for enforcement action a platform takes against your account.

We act on instruction, not on judgment. Where the service can change a campaign, it does so only from a change you have reviewed and approved. hecigo is not an advertising agency, does not decide your budget, targeting, or creative, and does not guarantee any advertising result. Money spent on advertising is spent by you, on your own platform account, under your own payment method.

What we do with your data

Personal data is covered by the Privacy Policy, written to Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP.

For the advertising service specifically:

  • Platform credentials are encrypted before they are stored, and no interface returns their values, including to you.
  • Performance figures are fetched from the platform when you ask a question. We do not build a separate copy of your advertising history for our own use.
  • We do not sell, rent, or redistribute your advertising data, and we do not pool it with another customer's data.
  • Ask at hi@hecigo.com to have a workspace and everything in it deleted. We do it within 30 days and confirm in writing, the same period the Privacy Policy commits to for any other request.

Acceptable use

Do not use hecigo software to:

  • reach data belonging to a business that has not authorized you to reach it;
  • work around a platform's rate limits, access tiers, or review process;
  • run advertising that is illegal in Vietnam or in the market you are advertising in;
  • resell raw platform data to a third party; or
  • probe, overload, or interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on.

Security research is welcome. Report what you find to hi@hecigo.com before disclosing it, and do not use another customer's data to demonstrate a finding.

Fees

Where a service is paid, the price, the billing period, and what happens at renewal are stated at the point of purchase, and that statement is part of these terms. Free tiers and trials may change or end, with notice to the address on the workspace. Vietnamese value-added tax applies where it applies; invoices are issued electronically.

Intellectual property

hecigo keeps ownership of its software, documentation, and brand. Published packages carry their own licence, normally MIT, and that licence is what grants you rights to the code in them. Nothing here transfers ownership of hecigo software to you.

Your data stays yours. Connecting an account gives hecigo permission to process that data to provide the service to you, and nothing more.

The hecigo name, logo, and wordmark may not be used to suggest endorsement or partnership that does not exist.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is.

Platform APIs change, deprecate versions, rate-limit, and occasionally return numbers they later restate. Figures the service shows come from the platform and carry the platform's own caveats; where a figure matters commercially, check it against the platform's own interface. hecigo does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that every figure will match a platform's interface at every moment, or that the service fits a particular purpose of yours.

Liability

To the extent Vietnamese law allows, hecigo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for advertising spend, however it arose.

For everything else, hecigo's total liability arising from a hosted service is limited to the fees you paid for that service in the three months before the event that caused the claim. Where no fee was paid, hecigo's liability is limited to remedying the fault.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Vietnamese law, including liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

Suspension and ending the agreement

You can stop using a hosted service at any time by revoking platform access and asking us to delete the workspace.

hecigo may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where a platform withdraws the access the service depends on, or where continuing would put other customers at risk. Where we end a paid service without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

Changes to these terms

We change this page when the service changes, and record the change with a new version identifier and date at the top. Where a change materially reduces your rights, we notify the address on the workspace before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance of the new version.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam.

Talk to us first: most disputes end at hi@hecigo.com. If a dispute cannot be settled within 30 days of being raised in writing, it is resolved by the competent court in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
